Educational Opportunity Center (EOC)

The Educational Opportunity Center (EOC) provides free personalized guidance, counseling, and information on admission and financial aid to adults who want to begin or continue a program of post-secondary education. EOC's goal is to increase awareness of educational options and encourage adults to participate in these programs. The EOC is a program of the College Board, funded by a grant from the US Department of Education under Title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965.

The EOC assists all residents of the District of Columbia; however, the Center focuses on low-income adults who are nineteen (19) years of age or older and the first in their families to pursue higher education education.

Visit the Educational Opportunity Center, at the below website, if you are interested in any of these topics:

  • Colleges and universities
  • Vocational or technical schools
  • Part-time and weekend college programs
  • External degree options or experimental learning

  • Financial aid for post-secondary education
  • Career information
  • Graduate study
