Policy, Research & Analysis
Programs/Projects – Policy Forum

In collaboration with the DC Education Compact, DC VOICE, the Institute for Educational Leadership and the Laboratory for Student Success, the Office of the State Superintendent of Education holds quarterly policy forums on issues of interest to the DC education policy community. This is an opportunity for stakeholders, including local public officials and representatives of national and local groups, to interact with expert speakers, explore topics and resolve cross-cutting policy issues. Past forums have covered topics such as engaging youth in high school reform, assessing how our schools measure up in an era of high expectations and accountability, defining teacher quality and distributing highly qualified teachers.
